My name is Randy and I am a wife, mother, and the creator behind Flux & Co.
My daughter, Emry, was diagnosed with leukemia in 2016 at two years old. As hospital visits and treatment began, so did our battle with her chest port. We were constantly having to pull and tug on her clothing for access, and the line was very uncomfortable against her skin under her shirt. As I watched her struggle and witnessed the challenges that having a port presented, I wanted to create something that would make that aspect of her experience a little bit better.
My husband and I then began our journey with Flux & Co journey, with our first project being to design cozy clothing items that would allow for easy port access.
Our goal for Flux & Co is to become a hub of resources and tools for individuals, caregivers and family members to find support for themselves and/or the people they love who are going through a medical journey.
